Woodward Pop is an all day concert held in Woodward Park's Group Activity Area. This year Woodward Pop IV will take place on Saturday, June 4th from 2pm until 10pm. The $3 fee for park
entrance will be enforced at this event. Tickets are available at the

that day! Also watch on Friday June 3rd for Strange Brew 7 -
9am while they promote Woodward Pop!
Tickets cost $12.50
Advance purchase and $15.00 Day of Show. Kids under 12 are
free of charge. We have plenty of things for the kids to
do...Freddie the Falcon from the Fresno Falcons will be out there, a
Fire Engine from the Fresno Fire Department will be out there, face
painting clowns, balloon clowns, snow cones and 2 bounce houses will
also be out there for the kids to enjoy!

This
event features some of Fresno's best Tribute bands and 100% of all
net proceeds go directly to United Cerebral Palsy of Central
California to help support their programs and services. This
event is quickly becoming one of Fresno's family fun music event and
is one of UCP's most popular fund raising events.
This is a fun for the
entire family event where we encourage you to bring the kids, an ice
chest, the dog (on a leash) and a blanket with some lawn chairs and
a sun umbrella.
Cameras and camcorders are welcome! Plan on spending the entire day at beautiful and sunny Woodward Park
while you eat, drink and listen to some great bands that will
transport you back to a better time of peace, love and music.
The concert is
held in the Woodward Park group activities area next to the Japanese
Gardens. The Parks and Recreation department does not allow
you to bring glass or alcohol into the park. We will have some
food vendors at the event, so if you don't bring an ice chest there
will be food available. We will also be featuring a beer
garden so you can cool off with an ice cold beer. UCP will
have a crafts booth at the event where we will have student artwork,
wind chimes, mosaics, and candles for sale.
This event was founded by Vince Warner in 2002. In 2003 Vince teamed up with Jeffrey Fetters and brought this event to UCP in order to help support UCP's programs and services. Jeffrey has since taken this event and grown it to the popular event it has become. Since this partnership started, UCP has been fortunate enough to partner up with other businesses to help promote and sponsor this event.
We would like to
thank Fresno for the wonderful support we have received with this
event. If it were not for people like you attending this event,
it would not be so successful. Kick off your shoes, settle
down into your lawn chair and prepare for a journey through time
without even leaving your seat!
